The quote page is for architectural window film and commercial window cleaning — the two parts of the business that need a measurement-and-spec conversation before a number can be honest. Complex specifications (whole-home film, multi-storey body-corp glazing, heritage UV work) can take a little longer because the spec deserves it.

What we need to quote properly

Three things make the quote accurate. The more you can give us, the closer the written quote is to the final invoice.

• A photo of the windows and the room. A wide shot of the elevation, a close shot of the glass, a daylight shot of the glare problem. A phone snap is fine — even a blurry photo often tells us a lot about the glazing and the room aspect.
• The suburb and orientation. Travel changes the cost a little; more importantly, the suburb and orientation tell us about the likely glass and sun aspect. A 1920s villa with original leadlight is a different conversation from a newer townhouse with floor-to-ceiling west-facing glass.
• What you want done. Solar film? UV protection for an older interior? Privacy on a bathroom? A safety upgrade for non-safety glazing? Commercial cleaning on a quarterly route? Pick “Not sure — please advise” if that’s honest — we’ll tell you which film direction (or which cleaning frequency) suits the situation.

Architectural film — the consultative process

Most film quotes go through two steps before a number lands.

1. Free posted sample swatch first. If the job is residential film and you haven’t yet seen the film against your own light, the free-sample page is the better entry — we post you a swatch, then get in touch to scope the job once you’ve held it up to your own window.
2. Measurement-and-quote site visit. Architectural film is priced by glass area, frame access, glass type (single, toughened, laminated, double-glazed) and film grade. The written quote follows the site visit and names the film, its published performance figures, any relevant standard, and the manufacturer warranty that applies.

Commercial cleaning — what changes the quote

Commercial cleaning quotes turn on five variables. The form captures them; the site visit confirms them.

• Premises type and trading hours. A cafe may need after-hours work; a warehouse may run daytime. The schedule changes the rate.
• Size and access. Ground-level shopfront vs first-floor office vs multi-storey body-corp common glazing.
• Frequency. Weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly. More frequent schedules generally cost less per visit.
• Documentation requirements. Reporting, on-site logbook, induction-required sites — built into the contract.
• Specialty work. High-rise access, signage film cleaning, anti-graffiti maintenance. Quoted as line-items, not buried in the rate.
